Abbaye du Relec

Le Relec Abbey, with its 12th-century abbey church, pond and gardens, is a unique place, hidden away in the Monts d’Arrée, bordered by moorland and forests. With its serene atmosphere, it’s a great place to take a stroll and discover the many activities on offer, for adults and children alike. In the reception area, you can discover the history of the abbey through an immersive visual and sound experience. It gives visitors a better understanding of the monastery and enables them to appreciate it more fully as they wander through the abbey church, the cloister ruins, the pond causeway and the vegetable garden.
Concerts in the abbey church and gardens in the summer offer a new approach to the site and enrich the relationship between heritage and nature.

Opening hours of the abbey church reception and gift shop :

– 12 to 26 April and 18 October to 1 November: Sunday to Thursday, 1.30 to 5.30 p.m.
– 27 April to 5 July and 31 August to 16 October: Monday to Friday, 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm
– 6 July to 30 August: daily, 10am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 6pm
