Grand Cairn de Barnenez

Built 6,000 years ago, this monument, 75 m long and 28 m wide, bears witness to an unsuspected level of expertise. Eleven corridor tombs punctuate its titanic façade, and some of them contain engraved messages that have yet to be understood…
Don’t miss this Neolithic masterpiece, nicknamed the “Parthenon of Prehistory” and considered to be the oldest “mausoleum” in Europe!
Guided tours at 11am and 3pm; during school holidays: 10am, 2.30pm and 4pm.

Ticket office closes 30 minutes before last admission.
