Le Musée Rural de Guimaëc
THE GUIMAËC RURAL MUSEUM
The museum welcomes you and your family to Guimaëc in northern Finistère. It is a unique, authentic and welcoming place. A journey back in time to a rural village as it was before the 1960s.
Over 2,000 objects trace rural life during the first half of the 20th century.
The tour is led by enthusiasts who share their memories and knowledge with visitors.
A world without electricity, smartphones, telly or cars! A world for today’s children to discover.
