Le tunnel du Morlaix arts tour
The Morlaix Arts Tour Tunnel
Morlaix beautifully combines its historical heritage with the art of urban murals. Following the incredible public enthusiasm for the first edition in 2019 and having captured the interest of the whole of Brittany, Morlaix Bay has now become a must-visit destination for street art with the recent opening of the Tunnel!
‘Obsidian, the Legend of the Dragon’ is the theme of this immersive street art exhibition, set in an unusual and mysterious location: the Morlaix funicular tunnel. Built in 1906, this tunnel was intended to link Morlaix railway station to the town centre, but the funicular project never came to fruition and the tunnel has remained completely unused ever since. This is the first time the public will have access to this astonishing site.
An urban exploration vibe is guaranteed!
Several street art pieces will be on display in the tunnel, including the imposing dragon sculpture by Ezra, which has a wingspan of 7 metres, is 12 metres long and 4 metres high! In total, there are seven artists and their works to discover: the German artist Bund Truluv, Tramber, Akhine, the British artist Guy Denning, Manolo Chrétien, Scaf and Ezra.
Open from 1 July to 15 September 2026.
This exhibition is accessible from the station forecourt, with no booking required,
