An island in Brittany, on the north coast of Finistère, Callot Island lies to the north of the Carantec peninsula, in the heart of the Bay of Morlaix. Breathtaking panoramas and unspoilt natural beauty!
Shaped like a seahorse, Callot Island stretches 2km northwards towards the open sea. Accessible at low tide from the Port via a submersible road, the island welcomes many visitors for a few hours’ stopover… Surrounded by the sea, in the middle of the many other islets that populate the Bay of Morlaix, you’ll appreciate the peaceful atmosphere of this little piece of paradise.

The former school on Île Callot, converted into a gîte by the municipality of Carantec, is now open for rental all year round. Designed in keeping with the spirit and history of the site, the Callot school gîte is designed to welcome visitors in a friendly, family atmosphere, in a preserved environment. The house has 8 rooms, facing east-west. On the ground floor there is a fitted kitchen, a living room, a shower room, two WCs and three bedrooms (one of which is suitable for people with reduced mobility), each with two beds. The first floor has been converted into a dormitory sleeping four. There is also an east-facing terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue.

In the very high season and during the Christmas holidays, the Callot School gîte is available to rent all year round, on a weekly basis only. During other periods, the gîte is available to rent by the week, either from Monday to Friday morning or from Friday evening to Sunday evening.
