La maison du large is set on a living, unspoilt island, where you can live in communion with nature on a virtually private beach. This elegant and intimate cocoon is designed to live at the rhythm of the sea in absolute comfort.

A luxurious fisherman’s hut by the sea, a little Breton chartreuse with unique charm and all the comforts you need for a pleasant stay. It recalls the warm, authentic atmosphere of a fisherman’s cottage. Easily accessible and perfectly exposed, it boasts a breathtaking view over the Bay of Morlaix.

The property also has a separate accommodation at the rear, which can sleep up to 4 people. It has two double beds (180×190), a private shower room and WC.

The main house is cosy and fully equipped. Its open-plan kitchen is functional and equipped with a professional stove, a Nespresso coffee machine and a griddle. It opens onto a cosy living room, ideal for spending quality time with friends or family. On the ground floor, you’ll also find a shower room, separate WC and a washing machine stored in a storage area.

Upstairs is a dormitory with 3 single beds and 3 pull-out beds (90/190cm), perfect for children or groups. A master bedroom with a king-size bed (180×200), a shower and washbasin, and built-in storage complete this sleeping area.

Unfortunately, the fireplace cannot be used, but everything is ready for you to enjoy a comfortable stay.

Linen is not provided. However, you have the possibility of renting “made beds” at the rate of:
20 € double bed including towels
15€ single bed including towels
Please specify your choice (bed size) and whether you would like separate beds when booking.

Payment will be made directly on site.

HOW TO GET TO CALLOT ISLAND

The island is accessible from the port of Carantec via an 800-metre-long submersible causeway, about 15 to 20 minutes’ walk.
Crossing is possible at low tide, on foot or by bike and car, according to timetables.
Arrivals and departures are not possible at any time of day. You will have to adapt to the constraints …
