L'Ecume

Magnificent, tastefully renovated house with its feet in the water, overlooking the sea, on the large sandy beach of Saint-Jean du Doigt, with an uninterrupted panoramic view of the ocean, and surrounded by a vast garden planted with trees. L’Ecume is set in a protected natural environment, between sea and countryside, classified as remarkable, with the sea as its only horizon….

The house can comfortably accommodate 6 people. On the ground floor, there is an entrance hall with plenty of storage space, as well as a beautiful living room with large sliding windows that allow you to admire the breathtaking view from the living room, comfortably seated in one of the sofas, or from the dining room. The semi-open, fully-equipped kitchen also lets you cook overlooking the sea….

Still on the ground floor, there is a beautiful bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200 cm), a dressing area and an en suite bathroom with two basins, a walk-in shower, a bath and a WC. Here, too, you can admire the view through the large bay window overlooking the ocean, and relax or fall asleep lulled by the sound of the waves.

Upstairs, a wide landing leads to two double bedrooms (160 x 200cm bed), each with a view of the sea. Each has its own bathroom, with walk-in shower, double washbasins and WC.

Two beautiful terraces overlooking the sea and the countryside will allow you to enjoy lunch and dinner with your family, or to read quietly in a deckchair while listening to the gentle sound of the sea. Garden furniture is also available.

There are plenty of tourist activities on offer.

The local markets, including the one in Plougasnou on Tuesday mornings, will give you the opportunity to discover the fresh produce and local fisheries around Plougasnou.

Discover the rich cultural heritage of Brittany, the Neolithic period with the Barnenez Cairn, Breton architecture with a visit to the historic town of Morlaix, the Château du Taureau in the Bay of Morlaix from the port of Plougasnou or the delightful island of Batz with its exotic garden.

There are plenty of footpaths to help you discover this magnificent region and its coastline, with its breathtaking views from the sentier des douaniers (GR34), which passes in front of the house.

Of course, all the water activities are available to you: sailing centre, surfing school, diving school, paddle and of course the large sandy beach at the foot of the house.

The excellent restaurants around l’Ecume and the shops in the charming village of Plougasnou, just a stone’s throw from the house, are ideal for eating out and discovering Breton gastronomy and specialities.
